"How to Fix Lens Vignetting - Working with Vintage Lenses” - Jesse Borkowski
Note: Although this video is old, The layout of the software and its functions are relatively the same and it did help me solve the issue of vignetting from the ND filter.
What I’ve learnt:
-
In the colourgrading tab, Add new node
-
Add a circular widow to the node
-
Inverse the mask of the window
-
and then adjust the exposure of the node as it will only affect the outside of the circular window.
-
Change the size of the outer ring to adjust the feathering of the window.
-
Adjust the size of the window to match the edge of the vignetting
-
“How to change the color of an object in Davinci Resolve?” - Video Editor Studio
What I’ve learnt:
-
Select the qualifier and use the eye dropper tool to select the colour you want to change
-
Ctrl + H views the parts of the image you have selected
-
Adjust the Hue, Saturation and Luminance to fine-tune the part of the image you want to change
-
For any precise elements that you want to change use the Window tab and use that pen tool to draw out the area that you want the colour change to affect.
-
If you have a moving shot then you will need to go to the tracker tab and render the moving shot from the start of the clip.
