Video summary:
-
Added Structured Colour-grading process change:
-
Use of colour space transform on node 3 (LOG node)
-
Sets the colour grade to a standard colourspace used in the industry
-
I used REC.709 which is the most common one and one that almost all devices use
-
-
-
Separate White balance note (WB node)
-
This is so I can Adjust the white balance if needed.
-
-
Separate pre-editing node for exposure balancing (Pre-Log node)
-
Then Post editing for anything extra I want to add after (Post-LOG node)
-
-
Use of time ramping to the video
-
I used the time ramping as I feel that it is fitting for the genre of music that I've used as compared to the London short film.
-
-
Emphasis on the change in tone:
-
Added a fade out and fade into the other clip to emphasise on the change in tone.
-
Added slow-motion to add a change of pacing to further emphasise the tone
-
Fade out on the ending to signify the ending of the short film
-
-
Gaps at the beginning of the short film
-
The reason why I have left gaps at the start of the short film is so that I can add an intro text or title to show what the piece is called.
-
I have decided to keep this blank because I want to decide on the titles after I have finished all the short films.
-
This is so I can keep the titles cohesive between the different short films.
-
(I have also done this for the London shortfilm)
